Just when you thought the state of politics couldn't get any worse, this happens: Former White House party crasher turned reality star on the short-lived Real Housewives of D.C., Tareq Salahi, is apparently planning on running for governor of Virginia.

Hear that? That's the sound of our heads exploding.

Salahi, who made the news last September when his wife - also former White House party crasher turned Real Housewives of D.C. star, Michaele Salahi - left him for the the guitarist from Journey, is apparently really serious about the decision. As he told TMZ: "I am troubled to see how our current political figureheads continue to waste tax payer dollars! I’m a big believer in limited government, keeping taxes, regulation and litigation low, and if I do win, everyone is invited to crash the inauguration!"

Why all the exclamation marks, bro! Calm down! You won't win!
