Though the release date is still pretty far off, the first stills from Quentin Tarantino's sure-to-be epic upcoming film, Django Unchained, have just hit the Internet, and unsurprisingly, they look awesome.

The stills, above, show stars Jamie Foxx and Christophe Waltz in their respective roles as freed slave Django and German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz, as well as star Leonardo Dicaprio in his role as a "charming but sadistic" plantation owner Calvin Candie. The film, which follows Django as he teams up with Schultz to travel across country in search of his wife (Kerry Washington), is set to be released on Christmas day.

What do you think of the stills?
