If you weren't exposed to Choose Your Own Adventure books when you were a kid, we feel for you. We really do. But there's hope yet. The popular children lit franchise has made the move to digital by porting a number of its titles to e-books and are now available in Apple's iBooks store.
Choose Your Own Adventure was a series that placed the reader in the shoes of the protagnoist and then let him or her make decisions that would alter the outcome of the plot. Some went choices led to nothing, while others were awesome. Unlike the books we had as kids, however, the digital versions will contain maps to help kids pick the best, more interesting routes. Damn, kids have it so easy these days.
