Even though it was probably the best show ever, Discovery has confirmed the cancellation of Cash Cab after seven years on the air.

The series featured host Ben Bailey as he drove through the streets of New York City in an iconic yellow taxi, picking up passengers and surprising them with news that they've just stepped into a game show that takes place inside his cab. People were given the chance to win money or, at the very least, a free cab ride. During its run, the series won the Daytime Emmy for Best Game Show in 2008, 2009, and 2010, and Bailey even won Best Host in 2010.

According to Vulture, the series will remain in syndication, and there's the slight possibility that producers could attempt to shop the series around to other networks.
