There must be something in the water in California. Or some serious oversight in campus police applications. Last night (April 3), during a protest related to rising tuition at Santa Monica College, campus police hosed down students attempting to enter a Board of Trustees meeting. Remember, this comes mere months after the U.C. Davis Pepper Spray Incident (still fresh on the Internet thanks to the meme that developed).
Photos from the protest show what appears to be a 4-year-old girl hit by the spray. We ask: What the hell is going on? How reckless can people be? Aren't they trained to handle situations? We're sure this won't be the last we hear about this. Meme coming soon.
