Last we heard about a Steve Jobs biopic, The Social Network screenwriter Aaron Sorkin was supposed to be writing the script for Sony, adapted from Walter Isaacson’s eponymous biography of the Apple founder. But, of course, because no idea is original in Hollywood, now there’s word of a second (smaller) Jobs movie in the works by Joshua Michael Stern, some guy known for directing some film called Swing Vote, which brilliantly featured Kevin Costner as the lead role… in a movie released in 2008.

Stern has cast Ashton Kutcher as the lead in his Jobs biopic, according to Variety. Though Kutcher isn’t the greatest of actors, as That ‘70sShow has proved, at the very least he’s adept at playing a stoner in the ‘70s.
