Industry vets from the studios that created games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Halo, and Infamous have joined forces to form Camouflaj and Logan, two teams that want your money. What do they want it for? A Kickstarter, of course!

We wouldn't tell you about it unless we thought it was worth your time (and money). Their game, Republique, casts you as a voyeuristic guardian angel for a young woman trapped in the Republique, some sort of military complex. You manipulate the environment to help her escape; watch through cameras, hack comptuers from afar to distract guards, inform her of enemy movements, etc.

The developers cite Infinity Blade as the quality benchmark they're shooting for. And they've already raised $500,000 elsewhere, so all they need is $500,000 more from you. Watch the video and then head over to the project page for some some more info. Naturally, there are a bevy of reward tiers, so choose the one that suits you best.

Are you sick of all these Kickstarters yet, or are you still excited to be able to directly fund the games you want to play? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
