Don't worry, fellas: It happens to the best of us. One day you’re running your fingers through a thick mane of hair without a care in the world, and the next day you’re sobbing as you watch countless follicles fall tragically from your head onto the floor of your shower. Going bald is a natural part of life for men everywhere (unless you’re Bill Clinton), and it’s something that most of the population has tried to hide through the use of countless hats, toupees, and bad combovers.

But going bald doesn’t have to be a death sentence. In fact, some of the biggest names in Hollywood have been at the top of their game despite being follicly challenged. Two of the earliest trailblazers for the bald community were Larry Fine and Curly from The Three Stooges.

Curly sported a shaved head decades before serial killers and Olympic swimmers made it famous, and Larry Fine let the sides of his hair grow as wild as the ivy at Wrigley Field, while the top of his head remained as smooth as a billiard ball.

This Friday, baldness comes back in style with the release of the Farrelly Brothers' modern-day take on The Three Stooges, starring Will Sasso and Sean Hayes as legendary cue balls, Curly and Larry, respectively. So to celebrate this small victory for chrome domes everywhere, we’re taking a look back at 15 Actors Who Went Bald With Swagger.
