Sometimes, it seems like TSA finds what they want to find.
26-year-old Gabrielle Olsen managed to sneak past TSA screeners at JFK International Airport with an antique dagger in her bag. Worse, it took 10 minutes for them to notify Port Authority police after the incident went down.
According to the Post, Olsen was originally flagged down for having a bottle of liquid in her bag. TSA took the bottle, yet somehow managed to miss the dagger, which went unnoticed until a screening-machine X-ray finally caught it.
Olsen's explanation was that her father, an antiques dealer, gave her the dagger for protection. She almost got away with it, thanks to TSA's latest fumble.
