Greg Smith, the former Goldman Sachs executive known for his lacerating New York Times op-ed piece, "Why I Am Leaving Goldman Sachs", will continue to publicly air his grievances in an upcoming book.

Smith's highly publicized March 14 resignation from Sachs stirred interest from several prominent publishers, resulting in a bidding war for Smith's "coming-of-age story". Ultimately, Hachette's Grand Central Publishing landed the deal, with Smith snagging a hefty advance of $1.5 million for his tale. The book will delve further into Smith's time at the bank, which he described as "toxic and destructive".

Which just goes to show, if you're unhappy with your career, you can always trash your employer and write a book about it. Let us know how that goes.
