From the people who brought you the super fast cheetah robot comes a new robot that can jump absurdly high in the air. Seriously, these guys are like the Lucius Fox of robot designers.
The Sand Flea, built by Boston Dynamics, has a CO2-powered piston that literally enables it to leap tall buildings in a single bound. It was designed to be used by the military for navigating obstacles on the battlefield.
