The man behind the 'Kony 2012' video - otherwise known as most popular viral video in the history of ever - Jason Russell, landed himself in a bit of a predicament yesterday in San Diego, when he was nabbed by police for being drunk and lewd in public.
According to TMZ, Russell was found running around naked, vandalizing cars, masturbating in public, and making sexual gestures. Though the CEO of Invisible Children, Ben Keesey, tells TMZ that Russell is currently in the hospital "suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition," law enforcement sources confirm that Russell was in fact apprehended by police and is in the hospital under a 5150 psychiatric hold to determine if he is a danger to himself or others.
In addition to creating the 'Kony 2012' video, Russell is also a co-founder of Invisible Children, Inc.
