The best solution to loosen up (and tolerate) a stuffy dinner party is with that chronic. That's how billionaire Richard Branson felt this week during the state dinner at the White House this week.
The head of Virgin Atlantic had a brief meeting of the minds with President Obama, and asked him exactly what you'd expect one powerful man to ask another: if he had any weed. Here's what the marijuana enthusiast told The Atlantic:
“I asked him if I could have a spliff,” businessman and Virgin Group honcho Richard Branson told a crowd gathered at The Atlantic’s Washington offices Thursday, the day after attending the dinner for British Prime Minister David Cameron.
“But they didn’t have any,” Branson continued, according to a video of the event as he recalled his effort to procure weed the night before at the White House.
Unfortunately, the President did not have any weed. If David Cross can do coke at the White House, surely it would have been cool for Branson to blow it down. In private, of course.
