For all those out there who have agonized over whether Street Fighter or Tekken was the better manga-inspired martial arts game, here's cause to celebrate: on March 6, 2012 (that’s today, yo), Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken hits shelves and the two games will finally square off in real time. This landmark new game gives series stalwarts Ryu, Chun-Li, Kazuya Mishima and Nina Williams a whole new venue in which to practice the art of ass-kicking, and will appeal to old-school gamers and young whippersnappers alike.

The game is played in 2 x 2 tag team battles, allowing players to select from a host of familiar characters. Capcom was so psyched about taking this rivalry to the next level that they asked rappers Murs and XV to battle it out game vs. game, each rapper repping one of these classics. You can check the results of the rap battle and learn more about the new game and its release at http://agenda.complex.com/streetfighterxtekken.
