NBC's new fashion competition show, "Fashion Star," premiered last night. A party was thrown to celebrate the occasion, and Nicole Richie, who's a mentor on the show— it's a lot like "The Voice," but for fashion folks— showed up in a flowing yellow gown. It kind of summed up why she's on the show in the first place.
