In addition to the all new iPad, Apple today unveiled an upgraded AppleTV, making the little multi-media hockey puck incrementally more valuable but keeping the price at $99.

The new AppleTV finally supports full 1080P videos, so you can use it to take full advantage of your HDTV. It's also got an overhauld user interface (which you can see above) that makes it look slightly more iOS like.

One of the cooler things about the new set up is you can store your movies and TV shows that you rent/buy with AppleTV in iCloud. That means they'll then be available for streaming on your iPad, iPhone, iPod or computer.

As per usual, you can beam content from your iOS device to your TV via AirPlay, and you can directly mirror the screens as well.

The new AppleTV is available for pre-order now and will hit stores on March 16.
