Just in case you didn't hate him enough after the Transformers series seemingly got worse with each new installment, Michael Bay's production team, Platinum Dunes, will be turning the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into aliens for 2013's movie reboot.
According to Stuff We Like, Bay said this at a Nickelodeon event in New York, "When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable."
Instead of making them mutated turtles like they have been since the beginning, Mr. Bay is turning the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into beings from another planet. Why is he doing this? Because he's Michael Bay. He turned the Transformers movies into two-and-a-half hours of racist, toilet humor, so this shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will be directed by Wrath of the Titan'sJonathan Liebesman, and is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2013.
