It looks like the road to recovery is taking Lindsay Lohan north of the border.
TMZ is reporting that Canada has granted the actress a work permit to film the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor film in Toronto. This is both surprising and kind of like a big deal, given the fact that Canada isn't usually that lenient with foreigners who have criminal records.
Apparently, Canadian officials were so impressed with the positive feedback from her probation officer that the permit was issued before she finally wrapped her community service yesterday.
