Yeah, the movies may be over and kids might have new cultural obsessions a few times over (Twilight, The Hunger Games) but it seems Potter-mania is as strong as ever. Within mere hours of the release of entire Harry Potter series as e-books for the first time, the Amazon Kindle Store crashed, with most titles unavailable for purchase for few hours.
It makes a lot of sense given the fanaticism for the series. If you’ve read and re-read every book, gone to every movie, why not indulge in the luxury of compressing 4,100 pages onto a single device?
