Just in case you still believe that Hollywood is in the business of putting out creatively daring and groundbreaking films, The Hollywood Reporter's latest news that a sequel to the 1988 comedy, Twins, is in the works should dispel that notion from your mind. According to the site, Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger are set to return to their roles as the physically mismatched twins, Vincent and Julius Benedict, in this sequel that no one asked for.

If that news doesn't make your blood run cold, this bit of info should finish the job. The site is also reporting that Eddie Murphy has been pegged to play their third brother, and the movie will be titled Triplets. There is no director or screenwriter set for the movie yet, but make no mistake about it, Triplets is happening. It's best to batten down the hatches and prepare for the worst.

Ivan Reitman, the director of the original, will be a producer on the sequel, and will be joined by Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock, and Ali Bell on the project. The movie will be set up at Universal Pictures, but no release year has been determined yet.
