New Brooklyn Arena to Sell "Brooklynized" Water, Made in Florida

Wait a minute.

The Barclays Center, home of the new Nets, is scheduled to open in September, and will sell "Brooklynized" bottled water. Minority owner Bruce Ratner is adamant that this will help make the new building "as quintessentially Brooklyn as it gets." Oddly enough, the Brooklyn Water Bottling Company is located in Boca Raton, Florida.

In order to give a ensure a true Brooklyn experience, the Barclays Center will sell water made in Florida. This is one of several reasons why Deron Williams wants nothing to do with the organization.

We can't help but wonder what fellow minority owner and Brooklynite Jay-Z feels about this.
