Since there simply isn’t enough mobile bandwidth to go around, AT&T has been forced to institute clear limits on data consumption, announcing yesterday that it will cap 4G LTE customers at 5 GB of usage in a billing cycle. AT&T will send text messages notifying users when their usage is near 3 GB, slowing the speeds of customers who then exceed that initial marker.

The entire notion of “unlimited data” is dead. It’ll be hard to work within those limits, but an easy way to start decreasing your consumption is by disabling apps from using your location all of the time. They steal your photos, anyway.
