Will Ferrell's been quite active in New Orleans recently. First came his hilarious player introductions at a game between the New Orleans Hornets and Chicago Bulls, and today he the marquis act of the Mardi Gras parade-the latest celebrity to be named King of Bacchus.
Ferrell, who's been in New Orleans since November filming Dog Fight, joins Elijah Wood, James Gandolfini, Nicholas Cage and New Orleans Sanits quarterback Drew Brees among the ranks of royalty. As arguably the silver screen's funniest man of the past decade, he was the right choice.
