Hang on a second before ya'll take your pitchforks down from above your mantles—it's not quite as bad as it sounds. Yes, it's delayed, and yes, it's being censored (due to "localization" problems), but even series creator David Jaffe isn't that mad about it.
"99% of the cuts were in the movies and the movies are still intact," he wrote on Neogaf. "I sat with the editor- who was the same editor of the American movies- and we went thru[sic] and addressed the notes from Europe and made sure the stories still worked."
There are minor changes, like a screaming guy strapped with dynamite being changed to simply an already-dead guy strapped with dynamite, that Jaffe can reconcile himself with. "It sucks in that I HATE cuts [to] the original game," he wrote. "At the same time, it's nothing like TMB [Twisted Metal Black, which was heavily censored] and players in SCEE territories will be able to play the same game and dive into the same Twisted universe as SCEA players."
The demo's out now on PSN, so you can try it before it comes out on Valentine's Day in the US. Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
