THQ Confirms They Haven't Cancelled Any Titles, Emphasizes Their Focus On Core Games

Plus no more "uDraw".

None

Perhaps wanting to lay some of our deepest fears to rest, THQ has outlined their release schedule through fiscal 2014. Over the last month, they've been plagued by angry letters, a potential NASDAQ de-listing, CEO and Directors' pay cuts, and around 240 planned layoffs. Despite these troubles they've confirmed that no games have been cancelled, including the Warhammer 40K MMO Dark Millenium Online, whose status has been up in the air lately.

They're also reiterating that they're sticking to core games instead of kids' and licensed titles, and there's no more uDraw in their future (phew). Here's the full release calendar, from THQ's report:

Fiscal 2013 (April 1, 2012-March 31 2013):

UFC Undisputed - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3  - February 14, 2012

Darksiders II  - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC - June 2012

South Park: The Game - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC - Q3 FY13

Annual WWE Game - TBA - Q3 FY13

Metro: Last Light  - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC - Q4 FY13

Devil’s Third - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC - Q4 FY13

Plus two unannounced core titles.

Fiscal 2014 (April 1, 2013-March 31 2014) and beyond:

Un-named Original Title - Turtle Rock Studio

Dark Millennium Online - Vigil and Relic

inSANE - Volition

Homefront 2 - Crytek

Patrice Désilets Original Title - THQ Montreal

Plus four unannounced core titles for release in fiscal 2014 and beyond.

So it looks like THQ fans don't have anything to worry about after all. We can't say the same about their non-developer employees, but it is what it is. Are you relieved, or skeptical? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
