The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum Displays Little-Seen Artifacts

All part of the push for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."

February is the month of presidents, and this country has never seen a POTUS more able than Abraham Lincoln. There are several museums dedicated to Lincoln’s legacy but you can find the best one in his adopted hometown of Springfield, Illinois.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (212 North Sixth St.) currently holds 1,600 manuscripts written or signed by Honest Abe including original copies of the 13th Amendment, the Gettysburg Address, and the Emancipation Proclamation. There's also a private vault housing one of the three existing beaver hats Lincoln wore, slave reward posters, and the glove Lincoln wore on the night of his assassination. There is no documented evidence of Abe slaying vampires in the museum but there are more than enough artifacts on hand to keep casual and hardcore historians more than satisfied.
