Theme Song: Jimmy Haas "Happy Days"

Happy Days, that '70s show about the '50s, actually had two iconic theme songs, the first being a re-recorded version of Bill Hailey & His Comets' “Rock Around The Clock,” followed by the more widely known, days-of-the-week number. Both were excellent in transporting viewers back to a time where “greasers” like The Fonz (Henry Winkler) were the coolest cats in the neighborhood. The “Happy Days” doo-wop created by Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel, complete with hand claps during the break, might be labeled corny today, but imagine what they will say about the Saved By The Bell theme music when you're old and gray.
