Pennsylvania University Carries Morning After-Pill in Vending Machines

85% of Shippensburg University students approved of the decision.

If you've had unprotected sex in the last 72-hours and attend Shippensburg University, you're in luck. A vending machine in the Pennsylvania university's student health center now carries Plan B One-Step, more colloquially known as the morning-after pill.

The vending machine was installed after a survey showed 85% of students wanted it. The vended morning-after pill costs $25, which is cheaper than off-campus pharmacies. The university does not cover or subsidize the cost of the drug. Anyone older than 17 can legally purchase it.

The school explained that the vending machine offered privacy to those wishing to purchase Plan B.
