The new developer video from CDProjekt Red is showing off Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. Right off the bat, these people want to let you know that this is much more than a port, so much that it's not really a port at all. They're calling it an "adaptation" of the PC game released last year.

This edition will add substantial smoothing of the gameplay with targeting possibilities, new moves and tactical options. Aside from that, it's actually adding new storytelling elements to the last portion of the game. This includes new characters and directions in the storyline.

However, if you already grabbed Witcher 2 on the PC when in it's original release, you will not be left in the dust. CDProjekt Red has stated that all the upgrades to the Xbox version will be available to PC users at the time of release.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is slated for an April 17th release.

Is there anybody out there like me who couldn't play the PC version, and is looking forward to getting it on Xbox?
