Boy Genius Report got their hands on an early version of Apple’s newest iOS update, 5.1, and the biggest change seems to be the ease with which users can now take photos. As of now, users have to wake the phone, double-tap the home button, then hit the camera icon—in that time, the moment being photographed can be lost. With 5.1, users can simply wake the iPhone, slide the unlock button and drag upwards to open the camera finder. The other big thing: Siri now speaks Japanese, so you can practice with your iPhone. The update should be released when Apple makes its big announcement, around March 9th.
