"Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream, Drop, Distance" Releasing Outside Japan This Summer, Possibly July

Following its March 29 release in Japan.

What the hell is Neku doing here?

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance has got a ballpark release date outside Japan courtesy of Square Enix's online store, which originally pegged it in late July but has since been changed to "summer 2012." Even if it is the French listing, that's more specific than what we knew before, which was nothing.

The game comes out in Japan on March 29. It'll apparently follow after the events of Kingdom Hearts 2, though what's actually going on in the series' convoluted plot is anyone's guess. Here's the most concise summary of events that we could find; we've played most of the games in the series, and it still makes very little sense beyond the first game's plot.
