Oak Lawn, Illinois youth baseball coach John Kelly disgraced himself by using the n-word to refer to Whitney Houston on Facebook. Since making the fateful "mistake," Kelly's been suspended by Westside Baseball of Oak Lawn, and claims that his life has been "ruined." You did it to yourself, buddy.

Kelly wrote something to the nature of "I’m so sick of reading about this dumb stupid N - - - - - Whitney Houston” on his Facebook page, which is restricted to adult friends and family. However, a former player's mother spotted and reposted his comments on both her own page, as well as the league's.

He's banned from coaching for a year, but will remain on the league's board. Kelly also resented New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's decision to lower the state's flags to half-staff to honor Houston. Still, he vehemently denied being racist, stating he has "some amazing friends who are black."

Hey John: We don't believe you, you need more people.
