Whether it's the late 1930s or 2012, one thing remains consistent in New York City: the people love food.

Sol Libsohn took these photos way back in 1938, showing what New Yorkers ate and where they went for food. Imagine a time where you could get "Orange Drink" for 5 cents at a refreshment stand. 

Currently, the pictures are archived in the Museum of the City of New York's exhibit called "Food in New York." The city may look different in these throwback pictures, but that affinity for food is unwavering.
