Art imitating life, we see it all the time. But no instance in recent memory exemplifies this more than FX's new show about a band undergoing therapy produced by none other than former Nirvana-drummer, current Foo Fighters front-man Dave Grohl.

A fan of Grohl's musical abilities, comedian Dana Gould (The Simpsons), the creator and soon-to-be star of the series, recruited Grohl as the executive-producer of the comedy, which will revolve around "a rock band on the verge of mega-stardom who finds itself on the verge of breaking up and is forced to seek professional help in a last-ditch effort to stay together," according to Deadline.

Considering his personal experience with bands in crisis and his hard-earned knowledge about the pressures of fame, we're looking forward to seeing what Grohl brings to the show.
