Darksiders II will hit stores on June 26th according to the game's Twitter. THQ had disclosed that the game would be a June release during their last financial disclosure, but hadn't announced the exact day.
Along with the release date, THQ also announced its pre-order bonus plans for the game via the Darksiders II forums. There are three separate retailers — Gamestop, Best Buy, and Amazon — sporting their own special pre-order bonus DLC.
Gamestop pre-orders come with the "Death Rides" DLC pack, which adds a few (most likely three) side quests to the "Maker's Realm" and "Dead Plains" areas.
If you put your money down at Best Buy, you'll get the "Angel of Death" pack, giving you "Angel Armor" and a matching weapon set. You'll also have a special purple trailer for your crow.
Lastly, if you decide to pre-ordering Amazon nets you the "Deadly Despair" DLC, which gives your horse a speed boost.
Vigil Games tweeted that the Wii U version of the game will feature its own pre-order bonuses, which will be announced after the console's launch date goes public.
