Apple will be adding Game Center support to Apple computers with its newest update, OSX version 10.8, A.K.A. "Mountain Lion". Apple previewed the new features in the update for developers earlier today.
Game Center, Apple's internal leaderboard and achievement system for iOS, hasn't seen much change since its inception in 2010. You might not think much of it, but with 100 million users on iPhones and iPads alone, the shift is sure to make some kind of splash.
