We recently reported that actress Joey King revealed that she would be playing a young Talia al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises, which instantly led to speculation to the return of Ra's al Ghul, who was played by Liam Neeson in 2005's Batman Begins. Now the speculation can end because in a recent interview with Show Biz Spy, Neeson stated that he will indeed return to the Caped Crusader's world for Christopher Nolan's last Batman flick.
“I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously,” says Liam. “I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So, I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”
Neeson tried to play it cool about his role in the movie, but all of the information released about the film so far points to an inevitable return of Ra's. Unfortunately we'll all have to wait until opening night to find out if "The Demon's Head" plays a substantial part in the movie or if it's simply a cameo.
