Trapdoor and EA have announced that the stealth-action puzzle game Warp will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, kicking off the "House Party" on February 15, 2012 for 800 Microsoft Points.

In Warp, players take the role of Zero, a little orange alien who must break free of the research facility that's been implanting him with powerful abilities. The players can choose to exact their revenge on everyone in the facility, or make an escape without killing a single thing. As the game progresses, players will be able to upgrade Zero with countless abilities.

All in all, it seems that the puzzle aspects of Warp play themselves out when players realize the many ways they can go through the levels. The ability to play the game eaither of these two ways and get different experiences really speaks a lot to the intelligent design of the game, and hopefully it does that well. That said, it sounds like Warp has a little bit of Metal Gear rattling around in it.

Aside from it's premiere on Xbox 360 on February 15, Warp will be available on the Playstation Network and PC on March 13 for $9.99, and in Europe the next day.

Who besides us is heavily looking forward to playing Warp?
