The Skyscraper Museum found this interpretation of New York in 1999, which originally ran in Joseph Pulitzer's New York World Newspaper back in 1900. The piece was done by Louis Biedermann, who was one of the world's most popular illustrators at the time.
There area a few obvious exaggerations, but it's always nice to hop in the time machine and go back about a century to see what people thought the future would look like.
