For almost 30 years, Pat Sajak has hosted Wheel of Fortune with a smile on his face and a hop in his step. Some people view this as the sign of a great TV personality; however, on yesterday's episode of the ESPN show Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable, Sajak admitted that he often had to booze-up before shows just to tolerate the contestants in the early days.
And he wasn't alone. The voluptuous vixen of the vowels, Vanna White, would often join Sajak for a few drinks in between episode tapings as well.
When asked if the shows were better or worse when he drank, Sajak responded, "I had a great time. I had no idea if the shows were any good. No one said anything, so I guess I did OK."
Apparently the only letters Sajak is buying are PBR.
