Half-Life 3 is one of gaming's biggest mysteries. It's one of the industry's most anticipated sequels, despite no real indication from Valve that the game is even in development.

Well, some of the series' fans are looking to do something about it. Steam group "A Call For Communication" has announced that its 28,000 members plan to play Half-Life 2 en masse this Saturday to show Valve that they are still waiting for news on Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and would like it sooner rather than later.

“Instead of focusing efforts in a negative and disrespectful way, we have decided to gain Valve’s attention by delivering a basic message: Your oldest and longest running fanbase would like better communication,” says the group's profile.

If you're a Half-Life fan and you'd like to help their cause (or because you want to play Half-Life 2), the group plans to start playing on Saturday at 11am Pacific.
