Miami-Dade police arrested 25 people at 25 different hydroponic labs in the county on Wednesday in a devastating raid known as "Operation Machete." In total, police came away with 1,356 marijuana plants weighing over 1,100 lbs with an estimated street value of $4.5 million.

In addition to that massive collection of weed, authorities also discovered nearly $32,000 in cash, seven guns, and 30 grams of coke throughout the course of a very productive day. The cops definitely got active, so promotions are in order. As for the marijuana operation, this is certainly a setback.

This "war on drugs" is futile, however, especially after the revelation that occasional cheefing won't really hurt your lungs. Hate it or love it, weed will be smoked regardless.
