According to a study by the Center for Disease Control, cell phone-only users “have a higher prevalence of binge drinking than landline respondents.”

The study surveyed a total of 457,677 adults, among which 35,638 were cell phone-only owners.

The findings highlight the fact that many cell phone-only users are young males and thus have a propensity for drinking, as well as knowing that one doesn't really need a landline in this day and age.

It’s not exactly rocket science.
