Microsoft has announced a partnership with News Corporation that'll see Fox shows including Family Guy, Glee, The New Girl, House, and possibly more on Xbox Live as early as this year.

The partnership was first mentioned at CES, though more details have been released today, including figures that indicate just how much Microsoft's Entertainment Apps have grown since their launch on Xbox Live late last year. They report that the hours of video consumed over Xbox Live and the number of Xbox Live members watching video and using the entertainment apps have been steadily growing since the services became available.

The News Corp. partnership will also bring content from Fox News, The Wall Street Journal's Dow Jones Newswire and MarketWatch, and game previews, reviews, gameplay videos from IGN later this year.

Have you been using the Xbox Live Entertainment apps that are currently available, like Dailymotion, ESPN and Hulu? Any thoughts? What else would you like to see on the service? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
