Jonzing for a new Advance Wars game?
Well too bad because you aren't getting one... Well, not exactly.
If you have an iOS device, PS3 or PSP, you can get new that might give you a fix. Oyaji Games' Mecho Wars is a strategy RPG that puts you in control of a group of monsters who are... trying to defeat the other monsters?
I'm a bit fuzzy on the details, but take one look and you'll see the mechanical similarities to the DS strategy series. The game isn't a total ripoff though: For starters, In Mecho Wars, the terrain changes based on a day/night cycle.
Mecho Wars is currently available on iOS for .99, and will be available for 4.99(?) on PSN as a PS Mini starting tomorrow.
