Maguns: A Handcrafted Magnetic iPad 2 Stand

Prop up your tablet in style.

Earlier today we showed you the 10 best keyboards available for the iPad 2. A good number of them come bundled with cases or stands, or cases that double as stands, but what if you buy one, like the Apple Wireless Keyboard, that doesn't provide a way for you to prop it up? You buy a stand. Preferably a cool one like the new Magnus magnetic iPad 2 stand.

Made by the Montclair, New Jersey-based design team, Ten One, the Magnus is a low-profile stand that takes up very little space on your desk. The stand is crafted from pure aluminum and is as simple as the iPad itself. The designers did well to make sure the stand didn't detract from the iPad's design.

Similar to the iPad 2, the Mangus features a series of magnets installed into the base to keep your iPad 2 secure. To ensure it doesn't slide around, Ten One outfitted the bottom of the stand with rubberized feet. It's coolest stand we've seen since the Incase Origami Workstation. We want one.

Interested? The Magnus is available from the Ten One website for $49.95
