Re-hashing old games is nothing new, and sure to create some backlash. However, sitting down with Tony Hawk HD is something I'm sure a lot of us are looking forward to.
This is not as much a re-make of the first game as an HD overview of the earlier games in the series. That said, the levels featured in Tony Hawk HD were chosen by the Birdman himself and Twitter feedback.
The levels chosen for the game are:
Warehouse
School 2
Mall
Phoenix
Hangar
Marseilles
Venice
For me, those first two games were the source of so much careful planning and deep focus to pull off the biggest combos I could. There's not many games that demand that sort of attention. And the soundtracks were loaded with stuff I'd never heard of, and stuff I'd never forget.
Yeah, I'm totally ready for Tony Hawk HD.
Tony Hawk HD will be out this Summer for XBLA and PSN.
