If you've played one Mario Party, you've sort of played them all, yet each one seems to draw us in anyway. They do keep getting better, and Mario Party 9 looks like it'll probably continue that trend.

A lot of the mini-games appear to be heavily inspired by recent Nintendo titles like New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Mario Kart 7, which is fine, since it's all in the family. One thing fans have been asking for is online play (why? Would it really be as fun with a bunch of strangers and no voice chat?), and it's unknown whether 9 will be the game that brings it. Given the Wii's track record, we doubt it.

Another potential tidbit is the disclaimer, "additional accessories required for multiplayer mode. Sold separately," which appears at the bottom near the beginning. Does that refer to Wii Remotes, or is there another accessory, like the microphone bundled with previous Mario Party titles, that'll be required for 9?

Would you welcome another Wii accessory or would you rather they focused on using the Wii Remote creatively? Does that disclaimer appear in other multiplayer Wii games, and we're just being dumb? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
