Square Enix is the latest publisher to join the ranks of Good Old Games, bringing two heavyweights to the DRM-free retro gaming platform: Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition ($9.99) and Hitman: Codename 47 ($5.99). With DE: Human Revolution still fresh in our minds and Hitman: Absolution right on the horizon, it's a perfect time to release these.

"There are a few more heroes from SquareEnix, that deserve a special treatment from GOG.com, and we will be announcing them in coming weeks," GOG wrote. "Today, it’s time to shave your head and buy an AMT Hardballer or wear sunglasses at night and save the world from the Illuminati." We couldn't have put it better ourselves.

Have you played the originals? Do you think they hold up? What other games would you like to see from Square Enix (how about Thief)? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
