Gamefly Releases List of 2011's "Most Requested" Games

Online delivery service Gamefly has released their list of the most requested games of 2011. As you'll see, the list doesn't exactly resemble the "best games of 2011" you may have reading for the past few weeks.

For starters, the most requested game of 2011 was not Skyrim, Portal 2 or Call of Duty. It was Batman: Arkham City. In addition to a general list, the service also has a list by platform. It seems like PS3 and Xbox 360 owners are generally looking for the same games, minus the exclusives. While Uncharted 3 Grabbed the top PS3 spot, Arkham City was number two and was top dog on Xbox 360 list.

Wii players, on the other hand, were mostly looking for Wii exclusives, and not even the new ones, necessarily: Skyward Sword was the most wanted, with Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Mario Galaxy 2 following right behind it.
